My mission as Tama County Sheriff is clear; to be an advocate for victims and hold criminals responsible. I believe every member of our community deserves safety and security, and I am committed to making that a reality. I will do my best to create a stronger, more resilient community for all of us by working tirelessly to ensure justice for those affected by crime. As Tama County Sheriff, I will be dedicated to utilizing every tool at our disposal to bring as much closure to the victim as our office can provide and to take necessary steps to prevent future offenses.

As law enforcement officers, we know that we may not be able to solve every crime that we handle. However, we are and will continue to be committed to making it a top priority to provide comfort and assurance to victims. We will make sure they know that we have done everything in our power to bring justice to their situation.

As Tama County Sheriff, I want to make it very clear that my office will not tolerate any violent acts committed in Tama County. We will hastily and professionally respond to such incidents with diligent use of force. The people of Tama County’s safety is of greatest importance, and we will do everything in our power to ensure it. We will not cater to external influence attempting to question our tactics and performance. We will continue to enforce the laws that uphold the safety and security of Tama County.

We will work closely with the Tama County Attorney’s office to ensure our efforts come to fruition. As Sheriff, I will be committed to making our partnership with the Tama County Attorney’s Office a success. Working side by side I am confident that we will be able to provide the best outcome for the victim. Under my leadership, our office will be dedicated to fostering a strong and productive relationship with all of our partners that share the same or similar mission; a safer Tama County.

I believe that community involvement and trust are powerful deterrents to crime. I know the importance of listening to and addressing the concerns of our community. I vow that the Tama County Sheriff’s Office will prioritize accessibility and transparency in its actions.
